Educating Tomorrow’s Innovative Thinkers Today

“Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by experiences in the environment.” -Dr. Maria

Montessori School of Leesburg and Purcellville offers a quality Montessori education in a stimulating, nurturing environment for preschool children ages 2-6. Our educational programs do much more than teach your child; they instill confidence, independent thought and a-long love of learning. As a parent, the choices you make for your child now will have a profound effect on their future development and success. Make the right choice for your child at Montessori of Leesburg.

Montessori School of Leesburg

Montessori School of Leesburg Founded in 1997, Montessori School of Leesburg is an independent private school for children ages 2 to 6. Our school serves the growing needs of Loudoun County, including Leesburg, Ashburn, Purcellville, Hamilton, Round Hill and Lovettsville for quality preschool education. Montessori School of Leesburg is affiliated with the American Montessori Society and licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services. We are a collaborative, thriving community of children, parents, faculty and administrators where children are honored and diversity is respected. Our preschool education program is based on the Montessori framework, which has been proven through decades of success worldwide. Unlike traditional daycares and preschools, Montessori of Leesburg provides children with a strong educational foundation that helps them to excel in their academic careers, as well as a supportive environment that allows each child to learn at their own pace in the best way for them.

Montessori School of Purcellville

The Montessori School of Leesburg is pleased to announce the opening of its second location in Purcellville, VA. The new school, The Montessori School of Purcellville, will open in August for the 2014-2015 School year. Over the past sixteen (16) years, we have had families from Purcellville and Western Loudoun County encourage us to open up a second school to serve the needs of their communities. While we serve some families from these towns today, the increased commute and traffic over the years has made it extremely difficult for families to choose Montessori. Purcellville, today, reminds us of what Leesburg used to be like many years ago. A small, quaint, town at the cross roads of a rural/suburban community in the making. After much due diligence, consultations and prayers, we decided that this was the right time for us to serve the needs of families in Purcellville and the surrounding communities. We are excited about this new journey and humbly request your assistance with helping us to spread the word. We plan to host an open house once the work is complete and we obtain our permits and licenses. As always, we will continue to adhere to our mission of being a great school that is known for providing quality education in a safe, loving and nurturing environment.
